Celebrating the launch of Collins’ The Little Book of Scottish Folk Songs - a revised reprint of what was originally The Scottish Folksinger - compiled by Norman Buchan and Peter Hall. Compered by Anne Neilson, a choice of songs from the new publication will be sung by Sheena Wellington, Robyn Stapleton and Tom Spiers.
Opening the concert will be a selection of the TMSA Young Trad Tour 2018, comprising finalists from the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition. Performers include Amy Papiransky (song), Luc McNally (guitar & song) and David Sheddon (pipes), and the 2017 winner, Charlie Stewart.
