Marking the Hudson’s Bay Company’s 350th anniversary in 2020, Gnoss fiddler and mandolinist Graham Rorie premières a new instrumental suite celebrating Orkney’s uniquely close ties with the firm, whose 18th- and 19th-century workforce was up to 80 percent Orcadian. Inspired by famous and lesser-known stories from this long shared history, Rorie performs with Kristan Harvey, Pàdruig Morrison, Rory Matheson, Signy Jakobsdottir, James Lindsay, and roof-raising Québécois quintet Le Vent du Nord.

Crowned as Up and Coming Artist of the Year at 2018’s Scots Trad Music Awards, young Highland trio Assynt - Graham Mackenzie (fiddle), David Shedden (pipes/whistles) and Innes White (guitar/mandolin) – preview material from their imminent second album.
