A warm welcome back. We are kicking off Aye Write 2021 online (isn't everything!) with a special pre-festival event featuring three of our favourite authors appearing together on the one screen.
Chris Brookmyre's latest novel, The Cut, takes us into the world of cult horror movies where special effect artist Mille Spark is still haunted by a murder from 25 years ago.
Denise Mina returns with The Less Dead, in which Margo's search for her birth mother takes her into the dark corners of Glasgow inhabited by the city's sex workers.
In the chair, chatting to Chris and Denise, Louise Welsh, Professor of Creative Writing at Glasgow University and author of The Cutting Room and The Plague Times Trilogy.
This event will be live and will be available to view for 3 weeks after the broadcast date. This is event is also available through the Aye Write Festival Pass, so no need to purchase a ticket if you already have the pass.
