An online workshop from current exhibiting artist Flo Brooks
4 - 5.30pm
Registration via Eventbrite

Self-identified LGBTQ+ people are invited to take part in an online collage workshop exploring queer notices* from the past.

We’ll be looking at LGBTQ+ notices from a variety of queer archives, reflecting on their histories, sensibilities and past functions. Using a selection of notices and additional art materials, each participant will be invited to create a collage in response, a chance to play with the narratives, forms and motifs found within the notices, to deconstruct, to rearrange, or to adapt. Together these will be displayed as J.B’s Junket board, a reimagined community noticeboard shown alongside Flo Brooks' exhibition Angletwich, currently exhibiting at Tramway.

Please note, a selection of notices and additional art materials will be posted out to each workshop participant so please provide your correct home address when signing up.

There are a limited number of places available.

* Notice – noun
A displayed sheet or placard giving news or information. These might be posters, event flyers, leaflets, adverts, calls for help, offerings, anything that might be found on a noticeboard
