Every week on Monday from 25th Oct - 10th Dec 2018 until 10th Dec 2018
3:30PM - 5:30PM

Design & Build uses Lego Mindstorms EV3 equipment to teach children the value of S.T.E.M learning, problem solving, communication & team work.  Over 8 weeks participants will work in groups and learn to build a range of pre-designed robots then remotely control it using a tablet.  Depending on progress participants may learn to programme their robots, or design and build their own unique robot.


The programme is open to primary school children aged 9-12 years.

There is a large car park offering free off-street parking to the front of the venue.  There is also additional free on-street parking available in the immediate area.

Please note all rooms are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of our Multi Purpose Room 1 and our Sports Hall, which are accessed via steps.

Minimum let duration is 1 hour. Lets for part of an hour will be charged at the hourly rate.

There is no kitchen or catering facility available for use at Barlanark Community Centre. However, a kettle or urn can be provided for tea/coffee making facilities. Please note you must bring your own supplies.
