This year's Summer Reading Challenge is all about being silly! From Monday 13 July 2020, Scotland's Public Libraries will be showcasing authors who can help children complete the #ScottishSillySquad challenge. Come join in the fun!

Pamela Butchart is a Scottish children's author and high school philosophy teacher. Butchart is best known for her books, The Spy Who Loved School Dinners and My Head Teacher is a Vampire Rat, both of which won book awards. Tune into the SLIC YouTube Channel at 3pm on Wednesday 15 July to hear her talk about this year's Summer Reading Challenge.
