Dates and times
A celebration of printing and making, Printshop! returns to Tramway for three weeks.
Printshop! is both an exhibition of collaborative work by Edwin Pickstone and Claire Barclay, and a functioning studio for visitors to participate in artist-led print. An investigation of the textual and print qualities of the back streets, city advertising hoardings, lanes and alleys provides a setting for introductory print workshops in screenprinting, cyanotype, bookbinding and letterpress. Through the act of printing and reprinting, the gallery becomes a site for the production and display of print.
As part of the studio nature of Printshop! there is the opportunity to work with a range of artists to make prints using a variety of printing techniques. Free and no need to book.
