A collaborative project between resident artist Sarah Leonard, carer and volunteer at Enable Glasgow/Fortune Works, who work to empower people of all ages with a learning disability.
Our artist will paint or draw large-scale portraits of individuals and groups - The Fortune Flyers Football Team; The Cafe Workers etc. After this each portrait will be personalised by the service user(s) and staff featured, using sequins, LED lights, gold leaf etc. to express their individuality, and those involved will be invited to talk about their experience.
Portraits will be displayed in a public exhibition at Project Ability from the 9th -12th August 2018.
