SINK is a major new artwork by artist Janice Kerbel, in the form of a synchronised swimming routine for 24 women. Commissioned by The Common Guild and taking place in August 2018, SINK is a live performance of a uniquely choreographed routine. SINK uses the language of synchronisation to explore the tensions between body and language, movement and stillness, the individual and the collective.

The performance will take place on Friday 3 August 2018 and is bookable in advance from Monday 4th June 2018. Free for under 16s and the unemployed

Please be aware that the event will be viewed from the swimming pool balcony and poolside. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the warm and humid atmosphere. Please arrive at the event promptly.
