Great Scottish Run returns to Glasgow on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 September.
Scotland’s biggest weekend of running gives people of all ages and abilities a chance to take part and challenge themselves. The action-packed weekend includes the Toddler Dash, Junior Run and Family Mile taking place on Super Saturday, and then both the 10k and half marathon on the Sunday.
Starting in Glasgow’s George Square, crowds will line the streets and watch an expected 30,000 participants follow the unchanged route through the heart of the city. Runners will follow either the iconic 10k or half marathon routes which pass iconic sights like Nelson’s Monument, Clyde Arc, Finnieston Crane, The Hydro, Pacific Quay, McLennan Arch, Pollock Park and a grandstand finish on Glasgow Green!
This year is shaping up to be the best yet with some exciting new on-course experiences, adding to the brilliant music, incredible atmosphere, and enthusiastic cheer zones runners know and love.
