Take part in Bookbug Week by joining in with a whole week of FREE, special events taking place at Glasgow Libraries, especially for families with babies and young children.

Couper Institute, Monday 14 May, 1.30-2:30pm

Join in with Gerry Durkin's stories and songs in a session designed to bring smiles to the faces of children and adults alike. Get your special Bookbug Week ‘pop out finger puppet’ and sticker

Drumchapel Library, Tuesday 15 May, 1.30 - 2:30pm

Mrs. Mash: storyteller, singer and home cook. Passionate about great food, cooking, health, sustainable growing and making warm connections with people through stories and songs. Get your special Bookbug Week ‘pop out finger puppet’ and sticker

Springburn Library, Thursday 17 May, 12.00-1.00pm

Storyteller Allison Galbraith comes to Springburn Library. Environmental storytelling and Scottish folktales are Allison’s favourite types of story, but she also tells wisdom tales and participatory tales, with drama, riddles, songs and dance woven-in, to engage the whole audience, adults and children alike. Join Allison, meet Bookbug and get a special Bookbug Week ‘pop out finger puppet’ and sticker!
