Festival 2018 (2-12 August), the dynamic cultural programme for Glasgow 2018 European Championships, includes a number of great events from Gaelic Arts.

Glaschu Gaelic Song Trail/ Slighe Òrain Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu

A unique city trail following the story of Glasgow Gaelic present and past through song, sound and installation.

Slighe gun choimeas tron bhaile-mhòr a’ leantainn sgeulachd Ghlaschu Gàidhlig a bha agus a tha, tro òrain, fuaim agus stàlachadh.

 

 

Gaelic Arts Strategy - Ro-innleachd na h-Ealain Gàidhlig

As part of Glasgow City Council’s Gaelic Language Plan [2012-17] Glasgow Life presents a Gaelic Arts Strategy [2018-22] for Glasgow.

It will be delivered by Glasgow Life in partnership with a variety of agencies and strategic partners. Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the Royal
Conservatoire of Scotland and The National Theatre of Scotland. The strategy is supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig and Creative Scotland, who were consulted in the development of the strategy.
