At Glasgow Libraries, we offer anyone affected by cancer a free and confidential service with access to high quality information and support in a relaxed, comfortable environment in your local community.

Who Are Our services for?

  • Anyone affected by cancer – Patients, family members, carers, and friends.
  • Anyone worried about cancer, who has questions, or is looking for information.

Our volunteers have access to a comprehensive network of services to signpost and refer to along with helping support individuals looking for:

Information required for referral

Referrals can be emailed to​ with the details below:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact Number
On receiving a referral, our team will contact the individual by telephone and explain what the Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries services offer. We will also provide details of their nearest drop in service and the type of information and support our trained volunteers can provide.
