The Library at The Bridge offers a wide range of services and activities in relaxing, comfortable and inspiring surroundings. Our friendly staff will always be on hand to help you get the most out of your visits.

Library at the Bridge Will Be Closed From 1pm on Thursday 8th February reopening Tuesday 13th February To Create A Better Space For You.

Your nearest alternative Glasgow Library is Baillieston.

Don’t forget our fantastic online library services, including eBooks and eMagazines, are available to download from our website for free.

The Library at The Bridge is free to join

Your membership gives you access to Glasgow's library network and the Mitchell Library.  You can also borrow or access:

Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service 

If you're affected by cancer you want to know there's someone you can turn to for help. Someone who can help find answers to your questions, whatever they may be.

If you want to find information, support and practical help or would just like someone to talk to, come along to the Macmillan Information and Support Service at Library at The Bridge​. You can talk through issues and concerns with our trained volunteers and staff.

Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card

You can apply for a Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card at Library at The Bridge!

With the Glasgow Kidz Card anyone aged 5 to 11, living or attending school within the Glasgow City Council boundary, can obtain the card free of charge and enjoy discounts around Glasgow including free simming, films and more.  Click here for more information.

The Young Scot Card is free for all 12 to 18 year olds living or attending school in the city, and gives you access to tons of special offers, discounts and services. Click here for more information. 

Benefits and Employability Advice  Service

We are also working with the Glasgow City Council and Jobs and Business Glasgow to offer a free and confidential advice service within the library by appointment only.  For more info on this service or to book an appointment please call the library direct today.
