Burrell at Kelvingrove
A series of free exhibitions at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museums offers a chance to enjoy highlights of the collection while the Burrell is closed.
The exhibition currently on display is Burrell at Kelvingrove: Collecting Chinese Treasures, which will run until Sunday 29 November 2020. Here you can see some of the wonderful porcelain, bronze and Jade from the Chinese Dynastic periods collected by Sir William Burrell, including Tang Dynasty tomb guardian figures, elaborate forms of ritual bronzes that are more than 2,500 years old and a rare Ming Dynasty blue-and-white tankard.
The exhibition is on display in the Discovering Art Gallery on the ground floor of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
