Glasgow Life Community Touring Programme

The performer Elaine C Smith stands on a raised stage in front of a packed audience

Glasgow Life's Community Touring programme has been bringing engaging arts experiences and high quality performances to venues across the city for over 15 years.

On this page, read about why the programme is so important, and find out about upcoming events. We've also got information for companies and artists who would like to get involved.

Audiences have often commented on how important it is to have productions taking place within their immediate locale and on their doorsteps.

Glasgow Life tours a variety of performances including comedy, theatre, music, dance and festive productions. Much of the work aims to be family friendly, and tickets are either free or very affordable.

We use a wide network of community venues across the city (some managed by Glasgow Life, some independently run) as well as care homes and other targeted locations so that we can reach a wide range of communities and audiences. After all, there’s something for everyone in our year round programme.
