Support with Reading, Writing and Numbers for 16-18 year olds.
Glasgow Life Community Learning organise community based adult literacy and numeracy support in local venues throughout Glasgow. Youth literacies learning programmes are based on what the young people want to learn using everyday materials and resources. Literacy and Numeracy support is tutored in small groups of no more than six people, and trained volunteers are available at some of the venues to support individual learners.
Some learning programmes are developed and delivered in partnership with other organisations working with individuals and groups who have identified a need and desire to develop their reading, writing and number skills and uses. It is free of charge for all adults in Glasgow who are 16 years of age and over.
Classes are available during the day, in the evening or even at the weekend.
If you or someone you know could benefit from some help with reading, writing or numbers and would like to find out more, contact Glasgow’s Learning
