The National Library of Scotland at Kelvin Hall invites you to join early year’s arts specialist Sarah in exploring stories through film and crafting about holidays and posting letters.
We will watch child friendly films from the Moving Image Archive, about holidays gone by and bring them to life with drama games, storytelling and drawing. We will decorate our own postcards and write our own holiday tales.
This workshop is geared towards children aged 3 – 10 years but younger ones are welcome to come along too.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. When booking FREE tickets via Eventbrite, please make sure to book a ticket for each individual family member attending.
Numbers are restricted so please make sure to book your places early. Please note that all the sessions will be the same so you should only book for one session. Please book here.
There will not be refreshments at this workshop so please bring water and a snack if required. No nuts please. All materials will be provided.
Please email Hannah.Justad@nls.uk if you would like to discuss any access needs.
