Gift Aid

You can now add gift aid on to the price of your ticket purchase. You can only do this when you buy your tickets at Kelvingrove.

What is Gift Aid?
• Gift Aid is a way for charities, such as Culture & Sport Glasgow to increase the value of monetary donations.
• If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by an extra 25p for every £1 given at no extra cost to you.

Gift Aid Visitor Scheme
• The price of a Gift Aid visitor ticket includes a small voluntary donation.
• By making a 10% donation on top of your entrance fee, a registered
charity like Culture & Sport Glasgow can treat the whole of your ticket price as a Gift Aid Donation.
• This means that Culture & Sport Glasgow can claim gift aid on the whole ticket price.
• If you purchase a £5.50 gift aid ticket, this is worth £6.88 to Glasgow Life.

The additional income generated will help us to continue to support the work of Culture & Sport Glasgow, which includes our exhibition and education programmes within museums.
