Bank Staff
Our Bank
Bank staff play an important role in delivering Glasgow Life's services alongside our colleagues with contractual hours.
As a member of the staff bank, you have no set hours and instead opt into available shifts that match with your own availability.
Your terms and conditions of employment are the same as any other employee of Glasgow Life and you are eligible for the same benefits.
Opting in for shifts
Speak to your manager about:
- how you can find out what shifts are available
- how to notify management of your availability for work
- what happens if your circumstances change
Terms and Conditions of Employment
Bank staff have the same terms and conditions of employment as our staff with contractual hours. You will find all HR policies and procedures in our HR A-Z:
Absence/withdrawal
If you are unable to attend a pre-agreed shift, please follow the absence reporting procedure which you will find on our Absence/Attendance policy page:
Wellbeing
Please see link in Related Items below which will take you to our information pages on employee wellbeing. There is also a link to our Employee Assistance Programme which is free for all GL staff (including bank staff) to access.
