TKO Musicians Take Part in Glasgow's Great Scottish Run

Musicians from The Tallinn Chamber Orchestra took part in this year's AJ Bell Great Scottish Run ahead of their joint concert with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir at Glasgow's City Halls on Sunday 5 October.
Joined by Katie Duffy, Glasgow Life's Head of Arts and Music, the team was also accompanied by the director of the Tallinn Philharmonic Society, Lennart Sundja.
As part of an exciting collaboration between the two UNESCO Cities of Music, musicians from the Orchestra and Chamber Choir travelled to Glasgow to celebrate 90 years of Arvo Pärt.
Soloists Maria Listra and Harry Traksmann were joined by Conductor Tõnu Kaljuste to perform an exciting programme, including Pärt's - Te Deum, L’abbé Agathon and Adam’s Lament.
The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run will of course be a completely new experience for me.
You can read more about how the team of musicians approached the run, how they came up with their team name Allegro con brio – "fast and fast", and which tempo mark would express the musicians' personal running style on their blog post here.
