Everything you need to know ahead of attending the festival

Getting ready to attend the festival

Please make sure you arrive at the festival venue in plenty of time. This will allow you to check our information boards for the location of your event. For the majority of events, doors will open 15 minutes before the start time. All event spaces are wheelchair accessible.

BSL interpretation

You can request British Sign Language interpretation for any event in the programme. We will seek support from our providers to get interpretation services where possible.

  • Buy your tickets for the event(s) you wish to attend

  • Once you have bought tickets email ayewrite@glasgowlife.org.uk using the subject line BSL. Also detail the event(s) you are requesting interpretation services for

  • We will aim to respond to requests for support within one week

  • We will let you know if we can't fulfil your request. We will then arrange a refund for your ticket or offer an alternative where possible

  • We must receive requests by Monday 8 May. This is to allow to allow us to seek services to support event access and to support preparation time

  • Please note that we can only meet a limited number of requests
