Calling all Jane Austen fans! Can you tell a spencer from a pelisse or know what to do with a reticule? Continuing our new Chronology of Fashion join curator Rebecca Quinton in this exploration of surviving garments, accessories and fashion plates from 1810-1820.

GMRC is a short walk from Nitshill train station, and the path is clearly signposted. Trains run regularly between Nitshill and Glasgow Central train station with a reduced service on Sunday.
