Christopher Priest’s novels have built him an inimitable dual reputation as a contemporary literary novelist and leading figure in modern SF and Fantasy. His novel The Prestige is unique in winning both a major literary prize (The James Tait Book Award) and a major genre prize The World Fantasy Award. The novel was adapted for the screen and was nominated for two Oscars. His latest works include the novel An American Story and this year’s short story collection Episodes.


Join us at Cardonald Library as Christopher discusses his life and work as part of our Book Week Scotland celebrations.
