But you don’t have to take their word for it, because today Colli takes centre stage with one of the world’s most respected conductors to play both of Shostakovich’s Piano Concertos in one sparkling concert. The First finds Colli playing energetic musical games with a rising star, trumpeter Matilda Lloyd. The second – written for Shostakovich’s teenage son – is music of irresistible melody and exuberant wit. With Mark Elder conducting it’ll sound fresh as new, and the gorgeous musical colours of Debussy’s Images create a magical setting.

At times, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
The public are only permitted to record and take photos where explicit permission has been granted in advance.
Free wifi
There is free public Wifi access. To connect, visitors have to register with City Halls Public Wifi which should pop up on their browser. After that visitors will only need their password for future uses.
