This extraordinary collaboration is a journey into Global Acoustic Fusion, blending virtuosic jazz improvisation with World-Folk rhythms.
Béla Fleck, the banjo's revolutionary, pushes his instrument far beyond bluegrass into jazz and classical territory, providing dazzling, genre-defying melodic brilliance. The Edmar Castañeda Trio, featuring the Colombian harp master, brings a breathtaking mix of Latin fire, with Castañeda effectively acting as the group’s melodic, rhythmic, and bass foundation. Drummer Antonio Sanchez (of Birdman score fame) is the rhythmic architect, weaving complex jazz-funk grooves with fiery precision.
Scottish powerhouse Dallahan injects a jolt of World-Folk energy, seamlessly blending traditional Celtic tunes with influences from Balkan and North American styles.
The audience can expect technical mastery, cross-cultural dialogue, and boundary-shattering spontaneous music.
