Slighe Òrain Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu

Slighe gun choimeas tron bhaile-mhòr a’ leantainn sgeulachd Ghlaschu Gàidhlig a bha agus a tha, tro òrain, fuaim agus stàlachadh. Coinnichibh ri fìorachd dhoirbh chruthan-fuaime gnìomhachais;  cuiribh eòlas air an oiteag fhionnar gaoithe sìos fad Abhainn Chluaidh agus gabhaibh tlachd às na sgeulachdan maireannach mu Ghlaschu na Gàidhlig tro òrain, gnìomhadh agus beul-aithris.

On is e cuairt coiseachd a tha seo, bu chòir do chom-pàirtichean caisbheart fhreagarrach a chaitheamh agus a bhith deiseil airson na h-aimsire air an latha. Mairidh a’ chuairt suas ri 2 uair a thìde a bhios a’ gabhail a-steach amannan stad agus fois, le deochan air an t-slighe. Thig a’ chuairt gu ceann le cèilidh traidiseanta de cheòl agus sgeulachdan an taigh-òsta Blackfriars ann am Baile nam Marsantach (16:30 - 18:00).

Com-pàirtichean ri coinneachadh ann an Stèisean a’ Mheadhain.

A unique city trail following the story of Glasgow Gaelic present and past through song, sound and installation.  Encounter the gritty reality of industrial soundscapes; experience the fresh breeze along the River Clyde’s underbelly and enjoy the surviving stories of Gaelic Glasgow through songs, performance, poetry and folklore.

As it is a walking tour, patrons should wear suitable footwear and be prepared for the weather of the day. The event will take up to 2 hours and will include stoppages and rests, with refreshments along the way.  It will culminate in a traditional ceilidh of music and stories, indoors at Blackfriars in the Merchant City (16:30 - 18:00).

Patrons are to meet in Central Station.
