A Celtic Connections stalwart, Kenny Anderson brings his DIY pop alter-ego King Creosote to Glasgow’s iconic Old Fruitmarket. 25 years on from his self-released debut solo album, KC returns with November 2023’s I DES, an album that “digs deep into his previous work and continues his quest to navigate mortality, ardour, stormy waters, the moon in the sky, and the East Neuk of Fife.”
Equally at home on stage or serenading fans in the fishing pubs of Crail and Anstruther, King Creosote marries guitar, banjo, accordion and modular synths with a singular voice and an array of roguish, roving, and ever-evolving songs.
