Award-winning Scottish author Maggie Ritchie has travelled back in time to 1880s Paris, Glasgow in the turbulent early years of the 20th century, Shanghai in the Roaring Twenties, and post-colonial Southern Africa in the 1970s to write her novels.
Her latest, Daisy Chain, was inspired by the eventful and colourful lives of the pioneering women artists The Glasgow Girls, particularly that of Eleanor Allen Moore.
Maggie joins us at Library at GoMA to share her tips for writing and researching historical fiction in a creative writing workshop.
