For over a quarter of a century, no other band has quite captured the variety, energy, and sensitivity of Scottish fiddle music like Blazin' Fiddles. One of the most lauded and best-loved acts on the traditional music scene, the band takes the distinct fiddle styles of the Highlands and Islands and blends them with electrifying energy and famed Scottish warmth. Celebrating the release of their eleventh studio album in January 2026, the Blazers return to Celtic Connections to make their debut in the stunning Citizens Theatre. 

From the moment they take the stage, the sheer mastery of their musicianship will whisk you away on a thrilling musical journey. The formidable line-up features fiddle virtuosos Jenna Reid (Shetland), Kristan Harvey (Orkney), and Rua Macmillan (Highlands), all grounded by the powerhouse, second-to-none accompaniment of Angus Lyon (piano) and Anna Massie (guitar). Their quicksilver playing is matched by lightning-sharp humour and uproarious stories from their many travels. Whatever the venue, Blazin' Fiddles guarantees to turn it into the liveliest and warmest of hootenannies!
