The Byres Road Book Festival is back with a range of free event at Hillhead Library. The festival features adult author events, childrens events and Gaelic Language events.


Now in its sixth year, it's fast becoming one of the leading events in Glasgow’s cultural calendar-and is totally free to attend.


We have award-winning authors, poet laureates, illustrators, world-class chefs,  film and TV makers all making an appearance.

Assistance dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for an assistance dog.

There is a portable loop hearing assistance system.

Available in the ladies' public toilet situated on the first floor.

Baby feeding is welcome in all Glasgow Life venues.

PC's and printing services are available for public use.

Parking

Parking is free for all users. The car park is located at the rear of the building, off Burgh Lane.

Photography and video recording

On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.

Wi-Fi is free by logging on via Glasgow Libraries - no password required.
