Every Thursday afternoon in Royston Library staff from Jobs & Business Glasgow can be found helping unemployed local people to apply for jobs and develop the skills and confidence needed for work. Their support is free but needs to be booked in advance by calling free on 0300 123 2898.
Their support includes career planning and goal setting, CV and cover letter advice, interview skills, job searching and assistance with job applications. Staff can also provide helpful advice and links to other support organisations, training providers, and employment opportunities. A free appointment lasts for one hour and further follow up appointments can be arranged in Royston Library at a date and time to suit.
