Join us for the launch of local poet and
writer Linda Jackson’s new collection, Siren Calling. She will be reading from her new book of
poetry and from her recently published memoir, Siren: Wild In Me.
Linda is the founding editor of Seashorse
Publications, which has published collections of her own work and
collaborations with others. She is a creative writing tutor, working and living
in the Langside/Battlefield area for many years.

Designed by Glasgow School of Art Students in the 1920’s, the twenty-one foot by seven foot mural for Langside Library was entitled ‘Queen Mary at the Battle of Langside’ and was official handed over to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow on the 6th January 1920.
