Three community venues in Glasgow reopen for local people

Three community venues which have been operating as vaccination centres throughout, and since, the pandemic are set to reopen for the use of local people, Glasgow Life has confirmed.

Barmulloch and Drumchapel Community Centres, which had been leased by NHS Scotland for COVID and flu injections, will reopen their doors to the public from Monday, 26 June.

Following the end of its lease for vaccinations, Partick Burgh Hall is due to reopen on Monday 3 July to become available again for a wide range of community activities and events.

Bailie Annette Christie, Chair of Glasgow Life, said:

The reopening of these three buildings will be greatly welcomed by local organisations and groups who have missed having them as their focal points. It is particularly important that community venues are available for people to be able to come together for shared activities and events that promote social inclusion, physical health and mental wellbeing.
