BEMIS Scotland are delighted to present the inaugural best of ‘St. Andrew’s Fair Saturday’ concert in conjunction with the Bilbao’s FAIR Saturday Foundation. This year’s concert will showcase the best of Scotland and the Basque countries diverse musical talent and follows on from the unique Scottish / Basque collaboration which integrated Scotland’s St. Andrews week 2018 celebrations into the International arts festival of Fair Saturday.  Representing Scotland will be a BEMIS commissioned multicultural ensemble performing their interpretation of Scottish and International music led by Hungarian / Balkan influenced Violinist Jani Lang (Dallaghan, Jani Lang Band) and former BBC Radio Scotland instrumentalist of the Year, Button Box extraordinaire,  Paddy Callaghan. They will be joined by an ensemble of diverse Scottish talent including percussionist Erick Valentin Mauricia, Clarsach player Riko Matsouka, saxophonist Martin Fell, singer Farzane Zamen and other special guests. The Basque Country contingent will be represented by Oreka TX. Look forward to a dynamic and collaborative Celtic Connections night with a uniquely Scottish and International feel.

*Please note tonight’s concert will open with a short address and welcome from official representatives of Scotland and Bilbao.
