In this workshop we will be preparing Yekik Alicha- vegan split peas and coconut oil curry and later frying the famous Eritrean injera. This pancake like bread has a distinct slightly sour taste. It works wonderfully with the curry prepared in workshop and the stew we will have prepared earlier.

Soul Food Sisters is a vibrant female led social enterprise collective who believe in improving skills and self-esteem through collective cooking. They use food as a force for nourishment, for better understanding, respect and inclusion.
Join their free, fast paced workshops and learn how to make Bavarian Semmelknoedel bread dumplings, Spanish Churros and Flores Frittas, Polish pierogi, and Injera pancakes from Eritrea.
