Paying tribute to Jim McLean, musical director Gavin Paterson brings together a host of musical talent including folksingers Iona Fyfe, Fraser Bruce and John Graham, multi-instrumentalist & long-time member of The Clydesiders.
Inducted into the Trad Hall of Fame in November 2021, songwriter and record producer Jim McLean is the man who links the anti-Polaris Ding Dong Dollar album (exactly 60 years ago) to the U.C.S. benefit album (exactly 50 years ago). His songs have been sung by The Dubliners, The Corries, The Clancy Brothers, Alastair McDonald and many more, and as a producer, he worked with both Hugh MacDiarmid and The Nolan Sisters. This is the first time that an entire concert will be devoted to his work.
