On Saturday 4 July we will be bringing the magic of Merchant City Festival to you in your own home - with a free online programme in partnership with arts producers and festival regulars Surge. 

Merchant City Festival presents Surge online will broadcast a full day of performance, music and a symposium, all free to access, finishing with a live DJ set from Balkanarama. It will feature new and established work from artists in Scotland and further afield, including Los Rabinovich (Mallorca), Cocoloco (Australia) Oceanallover and Scottish Youth Theatre as well as a special edition Cirqulation Cabaret and Neverthere Scratch event.

This specially commissioned online takeover is funded by Glasgow Life, the charity which delivers the Merchant City Festival.
