New European Music curated by Mogwai’s Barry Burns

George Square will host three musical acts with links to both Glasgow and Berlin. The event aims to celebrate the importance of European relationships and the potential creative possibilities. The event is curated by Barry Burns (Mogwai)

SUMS is Glasgow’s Barry Burns (Mogwai), celebrated electronic Berlin based producer Kangding Ray and drum wizard Merlin Ettore.

Stockholm born and Berlin based DIY phenomenon Molly Nilsson has written, produced and released 5 LPs + 1 EP, most recently on Glasgow’s Night School Records.

Konx Om Pax - For Tom Scholefield, the language of design andmusic production crosses over. As a producer, he's released two LPs on Planet Mu. Tom now resides in Berlin.
