This April marks the 90th anniversary of the death of Glasgow tea-room entrepreneur Catherine Cranston (on the 18th), and the centenary of the death of the experimental Glasgow Style architect James Salmon Junior (on the 27th).
To mark the anniversaries of these important figures in the story of the Glasgow Style, join Curator Alison Brown in the stores at Glasgow Museums' Resource Centre to look at furniture and fittings made for Miss Cranston's Ingram Street Tearooms designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and furniture designed by James Salmon Jnr for some of Glasgow's New Art banks.
Come and see what made these designs and public spaces so radical and special.
