Join us in the Let’s Talk space as we explore our collections and bring out a selection of materials not normally on display.

Celebrate Scotland’s place in aviation history through some of the items from our collections. From pioneers such as James Tytler and his ballooning exploits in the 18th Century, to the Paisley Rocketeers Society; one of the first amateur rocketry groups in the world. See Scotland’s involvement in aerial warfare in both World Wars; notable activities in the post-war era and view copies from our aviation periodicals collections.
