Delve in to the world of code with all the tools and confidence you need to create your own websites and interactive web apps.
Hear from guest speakers, participate in workshops and connect with employers from the digital industry. You’ll get to work on projects related to your own interests and career aspirations, applying project management techniques to test and maintain the software programs you develop. Tech experts from the industry will provide you with one-to-one mentoring along the way to support you in achieving your personal goals.
Codeworks: Pro is designed to be flexible so that you can fit your studies around your other commitments. As a Codeworks: Pro you will attend Kelvin College for 1.5 days a week for 12 weeks. This could include weekdays, weekends or evening sessions, depending on what suits you and the rest of the group. We have a community of supportive tutors and access to laptops and smart devices via optional drop-in sessions at Kelvin College campuses too, available throughout the week for self-study.

Previous skills required
All participants are required to complete Codeworks: Developer or demonstrate an equivalent level of skills/experience prior to commencing the Codeworks: Pro course.
On completion of Codeworks: Pro you’ll achieve the SQA’s internationally recognised PDA in Software Development at SCQF Level 7.
Opportunities and support in progressing to entry-level coder/software developer positions or other roles related to the digital sector. Progression to HND in Computing or another digital related courses.
Codeworks: Pro is tutor-led for 1.5 days a week for 12 weeks and is completely free of charge!
