John Knox’s painting, ‘Glasgow Fair’, is full of extraordinary detail. There are over a thousand figures depicted, including fine ladies with their hats and parasols, soldiers, street sellers, pickpockets, clowns, wrestlers and musicians. Curator Jo Meacock will help you take a closer look at this iconic painting.

First Bus services 18, 64 and 263 stop on London Road, with services 2, 40, 60, 61, 240 and 255 stop on Gallowgate. All these services are within a couple of minutes walk to the People's Palace.
