Join us at Hillhead Library where writer Basia Gordon will be discussing her latest book Smithereens.

The title captures the grief caused by the death of Sharon, the author’s best friend however, this is no misery memoir. In essence, it’s about wringing the most out of our short lives! The book also touches on topical events – Brexit, Covid restrictions, political activism – and the joys of literature, food and wine.
