The young Skye piper Brighde Chaimbeil is a hugely exciting talent, winner of numerous top competition titles as well as 2016’s BBC Young Folk Award, all before she turned 18. Tonight she launches her debut album 'The Reeling' - with album guests including acclaimed fiddler Aidan O'Rourke, the legendary Rona Lightfoot of South Uist, and special guest Cormac Begley on concertina. “Gorgeous, flowing musicality. . . sweet intonation and expressive phrasing” (Herald)

Ian Carr and Niklas Roswall’s first guitar/nyckelharpa duo album, 2003’s Step On It, remains an ageless favourite for many a folk connoisseur. The equally delectable, wryly-titled Time Flies finally followed in 2018, continuing these two exceptional musicians’ engrossing creative conversation.
