Bridging Hannah Read and Andy Monaghan’s disparate backgrounds – she a Brooklyn-based, folk-rooted singer/fiddler, raised in Edinburgh and Eigg; he Frightened Rabbit’s guitarist, one of Glasgow's most sought-after sidemen and producers – their shared collaborative appetites create evocative, beautifully soundscaped new songs.
An action-packed 2019 saw young singer-songwriter Cara Rose’s soulful delivery and direct, insightful, distinctively Glaswegian lyrics wowing crowds at XpoNorth, Wide Days, Tenement Trail and TRNSMT’s new Queen Tut’s Stage.
