Hailing from the heart of the Irish midlands, JigJam bring US roots music back home with their largely self-penned alloy of bluegrass and traditional sounds. With over 20 All-Ireland titles between them, this sizzling Celtic stringband features duelling tenor and five-string banjos, mandolin, guitars and double bass, together with sinewy, soaring vocals. “Sparkling, innovative and infectious” (FolkWorld)
Formed in South Uist while studying traditional music at UHI’s Benbecula campus, Eabhal were winners of Hands Up For Trad’s 2018 Battle of the Folk Bands, delivering a spirited, inventive blend of Gaelic song and other Scottish traditions, on pipes, whistles, flute, fiddle, accordion, guitar and vocals.
