Youth is a state of mind, and in this Year of Young People, Thomas Søndergård and the RSNO invite all ages to discover the fun of orchestral music at its very freshest. Britten’s sparkling Guide to the Orchestra and Saint-Saëns’ ‘grand zoological fantasy’ have been entertaining audiences for years – but with two brand new pieces and the inimitable high spirits of the twin American pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton, there’s something here to delight novices and aficionados alike.

Supporting Year of Young People 2018.

In association with RSNO Young Ambassadors.

This concert is recommended by Classic FM.

Subscriptions on sale from Wednesday 14 March 2018. RSNO Circle members can priority book single tickets from Monday 23 April 2018. Single tickets on general sale from Wednesday 2 May 2018.
