Growing up in Kilphedar on South Uist, Sineag MacIntyre absorbed an especially rich local wealth of Gaelic singing tradition, later studying with Kenna Campbell, Mairi MacInnes and Calum Ross. Winner of both the Traditional and overall Mòd Gold Medals, she premières her eagerly-awaited new album, Lòn Bàn, with Ewan MacPherson, Mhairi Hall, Iain MacDonald, Angus Nicolson, Sarah Hoy, Gillie Mackenzie, Katie Shaw, and Kathleen MacInnes.

Tim Edey’s jaw-dropping wizardry on guitar and melodeon, across a wide-ranging repertoire of traditional, contemporary and original material, has attained justly legendary status on today’s folk scene, through both his prolific recorded output and extraordinary live performances. “Nothing short of spectacular” (Living Tradition)
