From Walter Scott to Denise Mina, and from Daniel Defoe to Thomas De Quincey, writers of all stripes have celebrated the streets of Glasgow.  Their writings, by adding meaning and magic, have transformed our appreciation of the built landscape.  Follow their inky footsteps for a walk round some of the many sights and sites captured by writers, and see how the personality of the city is reflected in prose and poetry.
